National Public Radio Spotlights RJ in Schools with Powerful Broadcast Series

October 20, 2017

When a student does something wrong at Ron Brown College Preparatory High School in Washington, DC, a small team, including a psychologist and a social worker, "circle up" with him. They talk about why he did what he did, what he can do to make things right, and how he can keep it from happening again.

NPR reporters Cory Turner and Kavitha Cardoza spent hundreds of hours over the past year at Ron Brown to learn about restorative justice in a school setting. Listen firsthand to the intense, patient work this school is investing to save the lives of young men of color.
