Franciscans Against the Death Penalty will hold weekly vigils at the Earl Warren Building in San Francisco beginning Wednesday, August 31. From noon to 1pm, participants will pass out flyers and talk with people about the death penalty and the proposition that is on the November ballot in California. They invite all to join this opportunity to bear witness to justice, walk in love, and walk humbly with God.
The group also plans a noon vigil on Monday, October 31at the State Capitol in Sacramento.
