On Tuesday evening, April 12, the Diocese of Sacramento hosted a vigil during National Crime Victims' Rights Week activities in the capitol. Family members, friends and community gathered at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament to share stories and remember those who have been victims of violence in our state.  "Crime victims have asked the Church to pray for them not just this week, but regularly," said Debbie McDermott, coordinator of Restorative Justice programs for the California Catholic Conference.
